Abstract
A woman with seropositive rheumatoid arthritis developed a bullous eruption localized to the jewelry areas 12 h after a test dose of sodium aurothiomalate (Myocrisinwa) was administered. Investigation showed that she was allergic to Ni rather than Au. Small quantities of Ni were found in the Myocrisin solution after a short contact with a metal needle, suggesting an explanation for the reaction. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
