The Teleomorph of Cristulariella moricola

Abstract
The teleomorph of C. moricola, a leaf spotting fungus, is described as a new genus and species, GROVESINIA pyramidalis. It was produced in vitro after a cold treatment of 4-6 mo. at 4.degree. C and subsequent incubation at 15.degree. C and a 14 h photoperiod. Mycelial inoculations using a culture of ascospore origin produced typical bull''s-eye or zonate lesions and pyramidal conidia on kidney bean confirming the teleomorphic-anamorphic connection.
