Abstract
The application of stochastic proceses to second‐order reactions is considered. Stochastic models for the bimolecular reactions 2A→B and A+B→C are formulated and solved exactly. The results of the stochastic solutions are compared with the deterministic results. Approximate methods of solving stochastic equations are also discussed and applied to various reaction processes. Keywords
