Abstract
The paper discusses the applicability of microwave pulse Doppler radar techniques to the observation of small‐scale turbulent air motion. Emphasis is placed on a quantitative analysis method that utilizes the variance of the Doppler radar observed spectrum of velocity of man‐made radar targets used as tracers for the turbulent air motion. Keywords
