Abstract
Whether voluntary control of manual temperature can be attained via biofeedback was studied in 16 volunteer subjects. The subjects were divided into 2 groups and instructed to imagine their hands either in very warm water or in very cold water. Results indicated that temperature control of the hands was achieved by giving instructions to produce relevant images without hypnosis, conditioning or feedback. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
