Abstract
The roentgenographic and clinical features of one case of intraspinal epidermoid and another of intramedullary dermoid are described. The importance of a consideration of these lesions in the diagnosis of long standing cases of spinal cord involvement showing bone changes on plain roentgenograms is emphasized. The case of dermoid (Case II) showed an unusual feature of 2 bony prominences and a bony sheet replacing the spinous processes and laminae in the region of intraspinal lesion. Associated mesodermal dysplasia is suggested as an explanation for this new bone abnormality observed.Keywords
