Abstract
In the discussion of the concerning of the transient terms of the nonlinear (ponderomotive) forces of laser–plasma interaction, the recent result by Zeidler et al. [Phys. Fluids 2 8, 372 (1985)] can be used to confirm the strength of Schlüter’s term and to provide an analogy to conclude a more general transient term.Keywords
