Abstract
In this paper the discrepance of scattered light between Mie theory and Fraunhofer diffraction is showed at different refractive indexes and sizes of particle. The accuracy of the Malvern particle size analyzer is discussed when it is used to measure small particles and some advice is proposed for its use. Keywords
