Abstract
The recent simulation results for particle cluster size R as a function of particle number N are combined with the classical theory of colloid growth by diffusion to arrive at a new rate law for the growth rate. In contrast to the classical prediction R2(t)∼t when N∼Rd, we find the simulation result N∼Rηd leads to Rα(t)∼t with α=2−(η−1)d.Keywords
