Abstract
Biorci and Mazzetti^{1}have found a general formula for the correlation function of nonindependent, overlapping pulse trains; however, its application involves considerable mathematical difficulties in general.^{2}This paper shows how these difficulties can be avoided and it provides, in addition, a necessary and sufficient condition whereby the nonindependent result is identical with the independent pulse result. Keywords
