Abstract
Data on the relationship of different doses of Captan, when incorporated into provision, and incidence of chalkbrood and egg mortality of Megachile rotundata (F.) were presented. A dose of about 0.06 g of Captan/g of provision experimentally laden with spores of either Ascosphaera aggregata Skou or A. proliperda Skou, reduced the incidence of chalkbrood disease caused by either fungus from 60 to <10% in the bee larvae tested. Doses of double value or higher were lethal to the first instars. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
