A Note on the Harmonic Analysis of the Diurnal Temperature Waves at Three Locations on a Mountain Slope

Abstract
Over 98% of the actual daily variations in temperatures at three localities on a mountain slope are explained by the first two harmonics of a Fourier series. The influence of cold air drainage, in the thermal regime of the valley is indicated by the increasing importance of the second harmonic at lower elevations.
