Abstract
Synopsis: Sillimanite grade metamorphism and pervasive migmatisation of upper Argyll Group and Southern Highland Group Dalradian metasediments in the South-east Highlands overlapped a major episode of recumbent folding, D3. Granites were emplaced before and after D3. Tectonic, metamorphic and magmatic events related to D3 were particularly complex in this region. Keywords
