Abstract
The cross section for proton-proton bremsstrahlung at 160-MeV incident energy is calculated using the Yale and the Brueckner-Gammel-Thaler phenomenological nucleon-nucleon potentials. The cross section depends strongly on the off-energy-shell behavior of the matrix for these potentials. Results for these two potentials differ by a factor of two to three, indicating that bremsstrahlung experiments should be able to distinguish between them.
