Abstract
A new host compound, 2,2-di(p-hydroxyphenyl)propane, which exhibits high inclusion ability towards phenols, amines, and hydrazines, has been designed. The crystal structure of its 1:1 complex with methylhydrazine comprises centrosymmetric cyclic dimeric units consolidated by O–H···N hydrogen bonding. Keywords
