Abstract
Two cases of gastric submucous eosinophilic granuloma are presented. The first case presented as a cystic intramural lesion with signs suggestive of a sealed-off sero-muscular perforation, while the second case was that of a solid mass in the antral submucosa. In both cases radical surgery was decided against, in view of the wide-spread adhesions to surrounding viscera, on the one hand, and in the interests of minimal morbidity for a condition which did not appear to be clearly malignant.
