Abstract
The development of two-dimensional γ-ray cameras using germanium as the active element has been encouraged by the recent availability of high purity germanium that does not require lithium compensation. In current systems, the picturp coordinates are defined by two orthogonal sets of conducting strips on opposite faces of a large planar detector. Keywords
