An Analysis of the Organizational Interaction of Accounting Departments.

Abstract

In the context of an organizational set and its related prestige ranking, it is found that coalition formation among accounting departments is a function of perceived prestige and geographic location, and that vertical integration within an accounting department (inbreeding) is a function of perceived prestige.
