A simple magnifier-rotator for enhanced visualization of nuclear medicine images

Abstract
An inexpensive magnifier-rotator was developed for use with the Anger scintillation camera. Images can be magnified up to 4 times and both rotated and translated on the display system. The electronics used to generate the equations of rotation are given. A study of gated end diastolic and end systolic cardiac blood pool images in humans are shown.
