Abstract
Third virial coefficients of neon, argon, krypton, and xenon have been calculated using the reliable XC and HFB pair potentials and three-body dispersion energies. Comparison between calculated and selected experimental values shows that the agreement is within the experimental error. The influence of three-body charge-overlap effects and exchange energies on the third virial coefficients is discussed. Keywords
