Infantile Autism and the Fragile X Syndrome in Japanese Children

Abstract
A total of 97 children with infantile autism, 85 boys and 12 girls, were screened for the fragile X chromosome. They ranged in age from 2 to 14 years with an average of 5 5/12 years. There were two fra(X) positive boys and no such girls. (Acta Paediatr Jpn 1989; 31: 163 ‐ 165)Keywords
