Abstract
A wide variety of sulphides can be readily converted to the corresponding sulphoxides in good to excellent yields by treatment with a combination of sodium chlorite, (salen)manganese(III) complex, and chromatographic alumina in dichloromethane under mild and neutral conditions.Keywords
