Abstract
The coefficient of functional elasticity of a juvenile chimpanzee''s dural sac and its contents was determined by measurement of the pressure-changes and volume-changes of the cerebrospinal fluid on vertical tiltings and by substitution of these measurements into the general physical formula for determination of elasticity, E = dP/(dV/V). The coefficient of elasticity was 4.70 X 106 dynes per cm.2, a value quite similar to that of macaques of similar age. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
