Abstract
The pyrenomycete Clathridium tostum (Berk. & Broome) n. comb, is transferred from Lejosphaerella v. Höhnel (= Paradidymella Petrak). Collections of this species on stems of Epilobium rosmarinifolium Hoenck from France, and on stems of Epilobium angustifolium L. from Canada, produced in culture the conidial state Seimatosporium kriegerianum (Bres.) Morgan-Jones & Sutton in Sutton, which, as Monoceras kriegerianum (Bres.) Guba, is the type of Monoceras Guba. Keywords
