Abstract
We solve exactly for the polymer adsorption transition in the two- and three-dimensional directed self-avoiding walk models, by employing a novel transfer-matrix approach. The behavior of the fraction of adsorbed monomers at the threshold and in the high-coverage regime is described in detail, as is the phase diagram of the adsorption transition. Keywords
