Abstract
The inelastic scattering of protons by was investigated with the MIT-ONR electrostatic generator and a 180-degree magnetic spectrograph. Bombarding energies from 6.54 to 8.15 Mev were used, targets were made of calcium, and the reaction angle was 90 degrees. Excited states of were found at 3.348±0.004, 3.730±0.004, 3.900±0.004, 4.483±0.005, 5.202±0.008, 5.241±0.006, 5.272±0.006, 5.606±0.009, 5.621±0.008, 5.901±0.008, and 6.029±0.008 Mev.
