Comparison of Admittances by Means of a Digital Double-Sinewave Generator

Abstract
A bridge for the comparison of conductances and susceptances is described one arm of which is formed by a digital double-sinewave generator and the other by the components to be compared. Some special characteristics of the generator arising from the synthesis of the sine function are investigated. Comparison measurements with a quadrature bridge have shown, that the relative uncertainty of the bridge is about 5 · 10-7 and is influenced mainly by the short-term stability of the source.
