Production of Tumors in the Ovary of Androgenized Rats After Autotransplantation Into the Spleen

Abstract
In androgenized rats which are bilaterally ovariectomized, auto-transplantation of the ovary into the spleen is followed by the development of corpora lutea in the graft. In the course of the next 6 or 8 months, tumors of granulosa cell or luteoma type grow in these ovaries. The process is similar to that observed in animals which have not been androgenized.
