Abstract
For pt.I see ibid., vol.20, p.639-49 (1987). A new method of estimating self-energy corrections in two-electron systems is presented. Multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock results for helium-like ions, including radiative corrections, are discussed and compared with recent experimental data. Magnetic interaction is shown to induce level crossings between 1s2p fine-structure levels. Keywords
