Abstract
The flow was measured 8-12 mos. after lumbar sympathectomy in 4 of a series of animals in which measurements previously had been made under similar conditions. The flow on the side of operation was still twice that on the intact side in every animal. Measurements on 2 other animals, on which sympathectomy had been done 19 and 34 mos. previously, gave comparable results. It therefore seems reasonable to conclude that the alterations in flow of blood of the femoral artery of the dog following lumbar sympathectomy are permanent. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
