Nuclear Level Densities in the Static-Path Approximation

Abstract
We propose a unified theory of nuclear level densities, encompassing both spherical and deformed nuclei, using the static-path approximation. The theory appears numerically tractable for a pairing-plus-quadrupole Hamiltonian.Keywords
