Abstract
The physiologic basis for the blocking effect of sera from patients with multiple sclerosis on isolated frog spinal cord is shown to be due to an inhibition of synaptic transmission. There are no detectable effects of blocking sera on conduction in either normal or demyelinated nerve. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
