Abstract
The essential oil of Helichrysum odoratissimum Sweet from Zimbabwe obtained by hydrodistillation of the fresh leaves was analyzed by GC/MS. Sixty-four compounds could be identified with α-pinene (15.0%), α-humulene (13.0%), β-caryophyllene (9.6%), elemol (8.7%), β-himachalene (8.2%) and 1,8-cineole (7.7%) as main components.Keywords
