Abstract
This report presents test results on dimensional similitude requirements for plane stress fracture toughness testing of centrally notched Griffith panels. In addition to the similitude requirements data, the report also presents test results on crack buckling, slow crack extension, and crack tip yield zone size. This data is particularly useful in substantiating recent theoretical studies in fracture mechanics. Keywords
