Abstract
The convolution theorem of Fourier transformation theory provides an "exact" solution to the representation of frequency-dependent line constants of distributed-parameter transmission lines. This paper emphasizes modelling aspects crucial to accurate and efficient numerical solution by digital computer, as part of a production electromagnetic transients program. Sample results simulating a field test are included. Keywords
