Abstract
Organic radioiodine compounds present in the gaseous effluent from Hanford's Purex Plant for nuclear fuel processing have been fractionated by gas chromatography and measured by gamma-ray spectroscopy. Analysis of the effluent for organic iodine-131 showed a complex mixture of compounds with boiling ranges of 40°C through 255°C; the lower boiling compounds were identified as alkyl iodides. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
