Abstract
Intensity fluctuation spectroscopy has been used to measure the velocity of extremely slowly falling bodies. The measurement is potentially absolute; accurate and rapid. Velocities of the order of 2.5*10-7 m s-1 can be made with an accuracy of >1% in less than 60 s.Keywords
