Abstract
This article highlights an area that should be of great concern to educators—children without friends. The author notes the serious implications of growing up friendless: “The uniqueness of peer relationships contributes to a child's normal development.” Now, proven techniques of identification allow teachers and other professionals to help such children.—R.J.S.Keywords
