Abstract
Infrared emission spectra of oleic, linoleic, linolenic, and stearic acids, and of methyl linolenate, on the surfaces of steel plates were measured at 100, 150 and 200° from 5 to 10 microns. Reactions occur to produce complex iron soaps.Keywords
