Abstract
A method is described for the calculation of the non‐linear anisotropic elastic field of a straight edge dislocation lying along a two‐fold axis of material symmetry taking into account the continuity conditions at the boundary of the dislocation core. The results may be applied to improve the study of the dislocation core by using semi‐discrete techniques. Keywords
