Abstract
Using two alternative formulations to describe the dynamics of suspended particles subject to an external force, we derive a generalized version of the fluctuation-dissipation theorem. The two formulations lead to equivalent expression of the theorem; one of them is suitable for practical applications to computer simulation, whereas the other one, formally more exact, is hardly tractable. Keywords
