Abstract
PYGIDIOPSOIDES spindalus uses the brackish-water fish Fundulus p. parvipinnis as a natural 2d intermediate host in S. California and develops to maturity in the small intestines of the exptl. hosts, Felis catus and Gallus domesticus. The adult worm has 2 gonotyls and a well-developed acetabulum enclosed in a ventro-genital sac; a common genital ejector; a simple execretory bladder, and an execretory pattern expressed by the formula, 2[(2 + 2) + (2 + 2)] = 16.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
