Abstract
Identification of 5 laboratory strains (1-5) of putative C. briggsae was undertaken. Examination of the male bursal ray arrangement, mating tests with males of C. elegans, malate dehydrogenase zymograms, and SDS [sodium dodecyl sulfate] polyacrylamide electrophoresis demonstrated that strain 4 was C. briggsae and the others were C. elegans. Keywords
