INTRAMURAL LESIONS OF THE GALLBLADDER

Abstract
Intramural lesions of the gallbladder are described as an interesting group of diseases that are rarely considered as having anything in common. Although their etiologies vary, their confinement to the restricted anatomic limits of the gallbladder makes it useful to think of the lesions together. The methods of roentgenologic examination for diagnosis are fairly simple-plain roentgenograms and cholecystograms. The lesions are usually demonstrated in these examinations, and proper identification depends primarily on being aware of the diagnosis and knowing the usual roentgenographic appearance.
