Abstract
The acylase from Aspergillus species catalyzes the acylation of alcohols and amines using vinyl acetate as irreversible acyl-transfer reagent. This is the first time that this enzyme has been employed to catalyze this kind of reaction. The method has been used in chemo-, regio-, and enantioselective transformations. Keywords
