Abstract
A 56‐year‐old white man is described whose course of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) was complicated by the Occurrence of the autoimmune hyperthyroidism/ thrombocytopenia syndrome. The implications of this syndrome on the treatment of CLL are discussed.Keywords
