Abstract
One-bond, geminal and vicinal 13C, 1H coupling constants have been determined for 2-methyl-and 3,5-dimethyladamantane using the derivatives deuterated in position 2 and 1, respectively, and the relation nJ(13C, 1H) = 6,5144 nJ(13C, 2H) for the conversion of the measured nJ(13C, 2H) values. The effect of methyl-substitution on these parameters is discussed.
