Abstract
The long-spacings of the compounds methyl stearate, ethyl stearate, n-butyl stearate, 2-non-adecanone, n-eicosane, n-hexatriacontane and n-tetratetracontane have been examined as a function of temperature by means of low-angle x-ray diffraction. The intensity of the long-spacing was also determined versus temperature. The effect of annealing temperature and time was examined by means of the DSC. Dielectric loss was studied in two crystalline phases of n-butyl stearate. Keywords
