Abstract
The Senboku wastewater treatment plant had suffered from bulking caused by the Actinomycete, Nocardia amarae. The purpose of this paper is to report the causes of the actinomycete scum production in this treatment plant and the methods of suppressing the scum production which resulted in success.Keywords
