Treatment of Phobic Anxiety and Psychogenic Impotence by Systematic Desensitization Employing Methohexitone-Induced Relaxation

Abstract
The technique of systematic desensitization employing methohexitone-induced relaxation was first described in 1966 (Friedman, 1966) and a review of results of treatment by this technique at six-month follow-up was encouraging since 15 of 18 patients continued to show marked improvement (Friedman and Silverstone, 1967). The present study reviews 124 patients treated by the same method.Keywords
